Inflammation

*Conjunctivitis - conjunctiva

*Blepharitis - eyelid

*Keratitis - cornea

*Vitritis - liquid inside the eye

*Chorioretinitis - retina and blood vessels that feed it

*Neuroretinitis - optic nerve

Causes

*Chorioretinitis – a fungus attacks the blood supply of the retina

*Conjunctivitis – an adenovirus (type of common cold) spreads from the eye to the hands and then travel

everywhere
